(explore some of the creative people featured on Radio Free Avalon, all music can be heard on the radio player on the home page)

Welcome to the living heartbeat of Avalon—a sacred space where artists, bards, and musicians channel the magic of the land through melody, rhythm, and word.

From the storied streets of Glastonbury to the rolling hills and ancient sites that whisper of legends past, this land has long been a haven for visionaries and song-carriers. Here, music is more than entertainment—it is a bridge between worlds, a vessel for wisdom, and a call to awaken the spirit.

This page is a celebration of Avalon’s creative soul, featuring modern-day troubadours, mystical poets, soulful minstrels, and sonic alchemists whose artistry reflects the deep magic of this land. Whether through ancient ballads, conscious beats, or spontaneous bardic storytelling, their voices keep Avalon’s essence alive.

Step into the circle, listen to the voices of the land, and support the artists who continue the timeless tradition of weaving music and myth into the fabric of Avalon.

MMUNE : Are UK veteran rapper PSYKOiD (aka Remark) & Switzerland based beat maker / producer CYLAS.

IMMUNE, started in ’23 when CYLAS approached PSYKOiD with a selection of new electronic beats he’d made with the intention of perhaps using one or two of the beats, PSYKOiD being the lyrical beast he is & the beats being too good to pass on, quickly emerged into a debut album by the duo, called :

SUB-ATOMIC BOOM BAP & A FISTFUL OF RAP : The album was a deep, dirty, squelchy synth sounding, big beat, lyrical journey through a futuristic, dystopian soundscape… It was released to good avail on CD & digital, along with 2music videos online.

Now in ’25… It’s time for the 2nd coming…. The sophomore titled ‘ELECTRIC SUN‘ : An even darker & deeper journey through the electronic era & psyche of modern man, with No stone unturned!

ELECTRIC SUN is to be released this summer, along with 3 new music videos the lads filmed in Switzerland last year.  The 1st single from the album is the aptly called, ‘The Sun Is Dark’ : A downbeat, soulful, poetic, melancholic trumpet call.Check it out & all music from IMMUNE

At Radio Free Avalon, we honor those who embody the spirit of Glastonbury—visionaries, healers, and way-showers who bring magic into the world. One such beloved figure was Raymond Rutter, known to many as “Merlin.” Draped in his signature blue robes and wizard’s hat, Ray was a living symbol of the town’s mystical essence, sharing wisdom, warmth, and a touch of enchantment with all who crossed his path.

Ray’s journey was one of spiritual exploration and deep service. Before making Glastonbury his home, he traveled far and wide, bringing his gifts of rune readings, healing, and intuitive guidance to seekers across the world. From the Equinox shops in the Midlands to his Reiki Bus adventures through Spain and Portugal, his life was dedicated to illuminating the path for others.

In Glastonbury, he became a cherished presence, often found near the Abbey offering readings, stories, and a sense of timeless wonder. His generosity extended beyond mystical teachings—he actively supported the Love Glastonbury Community Fridge, always bringing joy and care to those in need.

Ray’s passing on February 20, 2025, left a deep void, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he inspired. He was a guardian of the sacred, a keeper of stories, and a reminder that magic is not just in the unseen—it is in kindness, in community, and in the way we uplift each other.

As we continue our journey here at Radio Free Avalon, we celebrate Ray’s legacy by carrying forward the light of conscious connection, wisdom, and love.

Blessings on your journey, Ray. May your magic live on.
